"What if students can own a radio station?"

That simple yet powerful question, asked by a visionary English teacher in 2023, was the spark that started it all. From that moment, a group of passionate students took the idea and turned it into something real. And just like that, SamudraFM was born on 6 June 2023.

Today, SamudraFM proudly stands as Malaysia's first ever student-led school radio station. It's a platform where creativity meets technology, and where every student's voice matters.

Run entirely by students, for students, SamudraFM is more than just a radio programme. We produce shows that entertain, inform, and inspire. Whether it's music, talk shows, storytelling, or live coverage of school events, SamudraFM gives students the chance to express themselves, develop real-world media skills, and be heard far beyond the classroom walls.
